The Children’s Workshop participates in The United Nation Sustainable Development Goals Action Programme
In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and address the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.

The Global Goals is a project that involves everyone and, The Children’s Workshop preschool continues to integrate and embed the aims within the setting.
Our children are the future and it is their future that is now endangered. Education starts from the youngest of ages. It is during the Early Years of a child’s development that ethical and social beliefs are embedded. We (adults) owe it to our children to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge necessary to preserve and sustain their world. Parents are their children’s first and longest lasting teachers, your help is invaluable for the success of our (the world’s) project.
It is our responsibility to put sustainability at the forefront of our thinking.
But What is Sustainability?
…it is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs as well. Brundtland – United Nations 1987
The Children’s Workshop continues to reflect, review and make changes to our environment, surroundings and practices. These changes aim to reflect our commitment to the Sustainable Development Global Goals Action Programme and our vision for a more Sustainable future, where environment, society and economy grow together in harmony.
We hope you will join us on this journey.
A journey is not a vacation or a trip….is a process of discovery!
Let’s do it together as only this way we can make a difference!
